February Movies: Age of Adaline and Bridge of Spies

Please join us at the Hollywood Senior Center for pizza lunch at 11:30am (tickets on sale at 11am) and a movie at 1pm. On Friday, February 12, we’re showing “The Age of Adaline,” starring Blake Lively, Michael Huisman, and Harrison Ford. We’ll show this again on Friday, February 19, with subtitles.

A young woman, born at the turn of the 20th century, is rendered ageless after an accident. After many solitary years, she meets a man who complicates the eternal life she has settled into.

On Friday, February 26, we’ll show Academy Award-winning movie, “Bridge of Spies,” staring Tom Hanks, Mark Rylance, and Alan Alda. We’ll show it again with subtitles on Friday, March 4.

During the Cold War, an American lawyer is recruited to defend an arrested Soviet spy in court, and then help the CIA facilitate an exchange of the spy for the Soviet captured U2 spy plane pilot Francis Gary Powers.
