Help shape Multnomah County’s Aging, Disability, and Veterans Services at the COMMUNITY INPUT SESSION on JUNE 8, 10-11:30am, at the Hollywood Senior Center.

Share your thoughts about outreach/referral, caregiver issues, nutrition services, safety, abuse prevention, healthy aging, counseling, gap programs, transportation, behavioral health, case management, and resources.

FREE Aging Mastery Program Classes in June

The Hollywood Senior Center will offer three FREE Aging Mastery Program (AMP) Classes in June:

MONDAY, JUNE 6, 3-4:30pm: Nutrition

MONDAY, JUNE 13, 10:30-noon: Home Finances

MONDAY, JUNE 20, 10:30-noon: Rightsizing Your Life

New – Support Group for Grandparents & Relatives Parenting Children

Many grandparents and other relatives are parenting children today. This group will share what it is like to raise children at this point in their lives.  The change may bring happiness, but also stress and a change in lifestyle. 021515_grandparents_THUMBOpen to everyone, the support group is free.

May 20 Spring Fling Dance is Cancelled!

To celebrate Older Americans Month, please join us on Friday, May 20, from 5 to 7pm for the 2016 SPRING FLING DANCE PARTY! We’limgresl have a DJ, refreshments, and great company–YOU! May 20 Movie: “Concussion” with Subtitles

In Pittsburgh accomplished pathologist Dr. Bennet Omalu (played by Smith) uncovers the truth about brain damage in football players who suffer repeated concussions in the course of normal play.
