The RIDERS CLUB will head to the OREGON HISTORICAL SOCIETY on WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 16, for the “High Hopes: The Journey of JFK” exhibition. Back by popular demand! Hollywood Senior Center (HSC) will offer the Aging Mastery Program (AMP) again on Wednesdays from 9:30 to 10:30 am. Created by the National Council on Aging (NCOA), the 10-week program will run from August 23 to October 25. HSC is one of just two senior centers in Oregon that were selected to host AMP, a FREE innovative and life-changing approach to growing old on our own terms. This exciting series will cover the following topics: aging basics, exercise, sleep, healthy eating, financial fitness, medication management, advance planning, healthy relationships, falls prevention, and community engagement. Light refreshments and incentives/rewards will be offered. Seats are limited so sign up ASAP by calling 503-288-8303.
