Please join us on Friday, May 11, at 1 pm for “The Greatest Showman,” starring Hugh Jackman, Michelle Williams, and Zac Efron. The musical tells the story of P.T. Barnum, a poor boy, who became a worldwide sensation as the father of show business. We’ll show it again with subtitles on Friday, May 18, at 1 pm.
On Friday, May 25, at 1 pm we’ll show “The Post,” starring Meryl Streep, Tom Hanks, and Sarah Paulson. The movie tells the story of a cover-up that spanned four US presidents and pushed the country’s first female newspaper publisher and a hard-driving editor to join an unprecedented battle between the press and the government. On Friday, June 1, we’ll show it with subtitles at 1 pm.

Hollywood senior Center will offer an Introduction to Drawing class on Wednesdays, May 9-30, from 10 am to noon. Instructor Samantha Ollstein is an MFA student in Portland State University’s Fine Arts program. The class will explore the basics of drawing, such as perspective, value, shape, and texture. Each session will focus on drawing faces, animals, or landscapes. There is a $5 charge per class to cover costs. Please call 503-288-8303 to register.

Bring your reusable bags to receive FREE PRODUCE (and more!) from the Hollywood Farmers Market – Portland, Oregon.
