The Big Float, an annual event to promote the Willamette River, is looking for volunteers throughout the day. All volunteers get free admission to participate in the float/after party, a T-shirt, 1 food voucher, and 2 beverage tickets as a thank you for donating your valuable time to help this great cause! Mark your calendars! The Hollywood Farmers Market and Hollywood Senior Center are once again partnering to bring the community a fun and informative Senior Day on Saturday, July 14. There will be a special promotion for Seniors 65-plus: a set of coupons good for 20 percent off your purchases at the Hollywood Farmers Market that day (pick them up at the Hollywood Senior Center ahead of time or at the Market Information Booth at the Farmers Market) and a raffle for a basket full of goodies.
Calling all baseball fans and super volunteers! The Hollywood Senior Center is excited to partner with Portland Pickles Baseball this summer. We’re looking for volunteers of all ages to volunteer as ushers and 50/50 raffle ticket sellers during home games at Walker Stadium in the Lents neighborhood. Volunteers receive a FREE meal and baseball cap, plus an afternoon/evening out at the ballpark. The Pickles will donate funds back to Hollywood Senior Center through the raffle.

Please join the Alzheimer’s Caregivers Support Group that meets Sunday, June 24, from 2 to 3:30 (the fourth Sunday of each month).
