January 10: VIEWS: 8-Week Life Stories Writing Workshop

This writing workshop is a safe space for participants to explore their life experiences-the times, people, and events that helped shaped their lives-and share written or verbal memories. They, in turn, will witness the same from other group members. The VIEWS (Volunteers Involved for the Emotional Well Being of Seniors) facilitators are trained senior peer counselors.  Join us Thursdays, January 10 -February 28, 2:00- 4:00 pm at the Hollywood Senior Center. January 9: Riders Club: Oregon Jewish Museum: Brown Bag Lunch Talk


Venice Italy is a magical city with a rich mosaic of Jewish history and culture. Join Hollywood Senior Center’s Riders Club on a trip to the Oregon Jewish Museum for a FREE talk titled “A Jewish History of Venice”on Wednesday January 9.

Meet Ride Connection’s Ride Ambassador in the HSC Lobby at 10:45 am. (The talk starts at noon.) The Ride Ambassador will hand out free Tri-Met tickets and guide the group to the museum.
