June 24: John McLaughlin “Father of Oregon” Presentation

Sherry Johnston, a docent from Oregon Historical Society, will give a talk on the “Father of Oregon” Monday, June 24, at 12:30pm titled “Dr. John McLaughlin: Power, Heart, Troubled Waters.” John McLaughlin is a man whose fascinating life shows us how human frailties, ruggesd fur trade politics, and fragile power create a story of success and failure living side by side. June 18 Riders Club Trip: “The Beatles” at Oregon Historical Society

On Tuesday, June 18, meet the RideWise ride ambassador at 10:30am in the Hollywood Senior Center lobby and then head to the Oregon Historical Society (OHS) to see the FREE “The Beatles” exhibit. The ride ambassador will hand out FREE transportation passes and guide you on your journey to OHS. Meet new friends and learn about how one of the world’s top bands “invaded” the U.S. and made such an impact on music and culture.
