What’s going on in the world of politics? Why does talking politics so often feel off limits or fraught with danger? How can we get back to the good old days when it was OK to disagree and we could still be friends despite different views. SAGE (Senior Advocates for Generational Equity) and Crossing Party Lines will discuss the work being done in Portland to bridge the divide between left and right. Tips and guidance will be given for reclaiming our place in the political world without fear of losing friends or losing our cool.

Are you new to Portland? Or new to Hollywood Senior Center? Join us for an informal monthly session to learn what the center offers, how you can volunteer, and meet staff members and volunteers who can answer questions and help you navigate one of Portland’s best resources for older adults.
The Portland Youth Builders will lead a 30-minute presentation, followed by 20 minutes of hands-on activities. The high school students will have laptops on hand and encourage class participants to bring their devices and question.
