“Oregon Trail”
The promise of a better life in the “Second Eden” drew thousands of immigrants across 2,100 miles of rivers, prairies, mountains desert and forest. They faced births and deaths, experienced suffering and the awe of a raw wilderness. It wasn’t all hardship; there were times of music and dancing, along with young love and deepening family bonds.
